Because the forums are the correct place to ask? You did remember to change the default option from the lowest insurance to the highest one didn't you? You do realize its only the hull that gets paid out don't you? If yes to the above, petition it.
No such change has been made. No such murmurings have been made on the sisi forums.. Take it up with the people that can do something about it and stop bothering us..

No more Concord also makes security rating pointless other than to show how many "murder" kills a player has.
In all seriousness, even the most blood thirsty among us realizes that without concord eve would die a very horrible death. I'd agree with the reduction in size of highsec, and more (small) highsec pockets in lowsec to try and encourage people away from highsec, but without it new players wont get past their trial and without new players eve dies.

If true... it's long overdue and only half what it should be. Concordoken shouldn't pay any insurance, imo. I have never understood the logic that the 'insurance agencies' pays people for being blown up by the 'cops'.
Insurance is a game mechanic, not a business.
CONCORD was already balanced by shortened response times. No more changes are needed.
in fact i think oposite should have been made. Concord should be slow to respond (at least in 0.6 and 0.5 systems). But should be NO insurance at all.
Agreed.. Timing should be something like this.
1.0 - Insta dead (It is after all 1.0)
0.9 - 3-5 seconds
0.8 - 5-10 seconds
0.7 - 10-20 seconds
0.6 - 20-30 seconds
0.5 - 30-60 seconds
30 seconds is a LONG time in this game.. The range would mean that people cant calculate exactly the amount of force they need without wasting too much isk.. No insurance payout for concording at all (you broke the law).

As long as they don't include 'illegal modifications' or 'driving while under the influence' (boosters) then yeah, why not.. Actually, no.. screw it... Boosters void your insurance, rigs void your insurance, T3 voids your insurance... What else?
Edit: Oh I just thought of one.. You don't get your isk for another 6-8 weeks (make that days in game) after the accident.
